Doña Edilma was the only girl and the youngest of the family. She was loved and pampered by everyone. She has four children in the United States. When her husband died in 2005, she came to live with her son Jimmy in Minnesota. She brought with her a gondola souvenir. It was a present from doña Edilma’s younger brother to their mother for Christmas. Her mother loved that present so much she had it dis- played on a little table with flowers when she was alive. Doña Edilma’s granddaughter wants to inherit it.
